Background and Challenges
Update of the JEPX System
JEPX is planning to update its trading system, with the new Spot Market (Day-Ahead Market) system expected to go live in March 2026, followed by the Intraday Market system at the end of September 2026. This system renewal is expected to strengthen system robustness and improve stability.
Changes in Order Methods and Their Impact
Along with the system update, the order function via the JEPX trading screen (GUI) will be discontinued. The order method will fully transition to server-to-server communication (API integration) via dedicated lines. Electric power companies that have previously performed bidding tasks through the JEPX trading screen (GUI) will be required to implement an alternative order system.
In response to this major infrastructure turning point, We offer "eSquare Live for JEPX", a specialized ordering system.
