enechain, Obtained Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification

enechain Corporation, operator of Japan’s largest wholesale energy trading marketplace (HQ: Minato-ku Tokyo, CEO: Ryo Nozawa, hereinafter “enechain”), has acquired “ISO/IEC 27001:2013 / JIS Q 27001:2014” certification, the international standard for information security management systems, as of 15 October 2022.

【Background】

As of November 2022, enechain provides services such as eSquare, an online trading platform for energy commodities used by over 150 companies. We have come to the conclusion that building and strengthening a system and operations to properly manage the important information asset entrusted to us by our customers, is essential to our social responsibility to expand the operation of our wholesale energy trading marketplace and further develop the energy industry, leading us to obtaining a third-party certification.

Through the certification process, each and every employee deeply understands the importance of information security management and has established a system to maintain and improve information security.

  In September 2022, expanding from the traditional web browser version, a mobile app was released, allowing mobile access from a smartphone anytime, anywhere.

“eCompass”, a data platform that aggregates information necessary for energy transactions

• Essential information for energy trading, such as JEPX prices, fuel, and fuel adjust forward curves, interconnection line capacity occupancy, and European natural gas inventories, are provided alongside eSquare.

• We plan to implement significant function enhancements and chart speedups in the future.
