enechain Brokered Inaugural Deal for Chubu Area Power Futures
TOKYO – enechain Corporation today announced that it has brokered a deal for the first-ever power futures transaction for the newly introduced Chubu area (10 MW Base FY) on the European Energy Exchange (EEX). This transaction is a significant landmark, representing the first successful deal for a Chubu area product within the broader Japanese power futures market.
"We are incredibly honored to have facilitated the inaugural transaction for the Chubu product," said the founder and CEO of enechain, Ryo Nozawa. "enechain has a strong track record of broking numerous physical trades in the Chubu area. The listing of this futures product is expected to substantially invigorate trading activity for the Chubu area across both the futures and physical markets. We are committed to contributing to the enhanced liquidity and development of this growing market."
On December 1, enechain launched the power forward curve for the Chubu area product. Beyond trade intermediation, enechain is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to power businesses by developing and offering data and related services that facilitate Chubu power trading.
