Hideaki Kato is Executive Vice President and a member of the board of directors at enechain. Since co-founding enechain in 2019, Kato has played a key role in growing the business by leading the teams of energy brokers. Prior to enechain, Kato was a leading commodity broker with twenty years of experience at Amerex Energy Com, where he drove the company’s petroleum and power businesses since the opening of its Japan office in 2000. In his early career, he experienced physical and financial trading of crude oil and petroleum products at Kanematsu Corporation. Kato holds a bachelor's degree in science and engineering from the Waseda University.
