Kazuhiko Umemura
General Manager of GX Business Division
Kazuhiko Umemura joined enechain in November 2025 as General Manager of GX Business Division. Prior to enechain, Umemura served as an Executive Officer at PLAID, where he played a pivotal role in the company's IPO in 2020. He oversaw overall business operations while leading M&A initiatives and group company management. Earlier in his career, Umemura was responsible for platform marketing and new business development at GREE. At Rakuten, he led domestic e-commerce projects before relocating to the US to drive local business expansion and assist Japanese companies with market entry. Umemura began his professional career at ExxonMobil, engaging in sales strategy planning for petroleum and lubricant products. Umemura is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Business School.
